2003, Smith

'Cayenne' (Marky Smith, R. 2003). Seedling #99-18R. IB, 26" (66 cm), Late midseason bloom. Standards dark red (darker than RHS 71A); style arms gold, greyed red violet midrib and crests; falls black red, slight cream feathering beside vermilion (169A) beard; ruffled; pronounced sweet fragrance. Seedling #96-09D: (seedling #93-13A: ('Pele' x 'Fairy Lore') x 'Minidragon') X 'Vizier'. Honorable Mention 2008.
