Standards medium violet; style arms palest violet-white; falls palest violet-white blending slightly darker toward edge, fine light gray texture veins extend from beard to edge; beards medium golden-tan, light violet at end; lightly ruffled; slight sweet fragrance. Sibling to
'Dolce'. Mid-America 2005.

From Mid-America Garden catalog, 2005: ABBEY -18, 24 " (61 cm), Midseason. Abbey shows the versatility created by the use of the species aphylla. Moderately ruffled standards are medium-light violet. Styles and falls are pale violet-white becoming slightly darker toward edges and having light violet texture veins over the centers. Beards are light violet. Healthy plants give an abundance of increase and bloomstalks with 2 branches and 5-6 buds. Multiple stalks per bloom point is common.
