The newly organized American Iris Society will hold its first annual meeting and exhibition in "Wanamaker's University hall, June 1-2. This society has made an auspicious start, having some 250 members. George 'Wister, Germantown, is president and F. C- Sturtevant. 'Wellesley. Mass., secretary. There are quite a number of iris enthusiasts in this city and the exhibition is expected to be quite extensive.
