■(BB) 'Working Man's Hero'
2005, Lauer
'Working Man's Hero' ( Larry Lauer, R. 2005). Seedling #654-31. BB, 27" (69 cm), Late midseason bloom. Standards aster violet (RHS 90D), deeper at midrib; style arms sea lavender violet (87B); falls campanula violet (84A); beards spectrum violet (82B) at end, lilac purple (70B) in middle, fire red (33B) in throat; ruffled; slight sweet fragrance. 'Flow Blue' X 'Corps de Ballet'. Lauer's Flowers 2005.
