1999, Craig
'Spy' ( Jim and Vicki Craig, R. 1999). Seedling AH28C4. BB, 24" (60 cm). Midseason bloom. Standards white ground, solid blue violet band, lighter central wash; style arms deep violet; falls white, deep violet shoulders and sides thinning to narrow stitching at end, central area shaded violet; beards blue, based white in central section, yellow in throat; slight sweet fragrance. Sibling to 'Saucy; 'Classic Image' X seedling #8Z13: ( I. aphylla seedling #61-56A x ( 'Gentle Rain' x ((( 'High Above' x 'Lhasa') x 'Deborah Suzanne') x 'Stepping Out'))). J & V Craig 1999.
