'Pink Sundae' ( Fred Stephenson, R. 1972). Seedling #6623-2. BB, 25" (64 cm). Midseason to late bloom. Pink (RHS 36B) self, slightly darker veining on Falls; orange-pink beard. Frances Brown seedling #52-216: ( 'Sugar Babe' x pink seedling) X seedling #61-57: ( 'Point Lace' x 'Arctic Flame'). Ingleside 1974. High Commendation 1974, Honorable Mention 1975, Judges Choice 1975.

From AIS Bulletin #213 April 1974 Introducing PINK SUNDAE-6623-2 (F. Stephenson). BB, 25", M-L. This iris was well received by all who saw it in the 1974 Convention gardens during the1973 bloom season. It is a very clean, well- branched pink (RHS 36B) self with slightly darker delicate veining on F; orange-pink beard. F. Brown sdlgs. 62-216 (Sugar Babe x pink sdlg. involving cross of Fleeta and May Hall) X 61-57 (Point Lace X Arctic Flame). $15.00. Ingleside Gardens.
