From Fleur De Lis Gardens catalog, 1964: EARLICOT Tomp.'63 VL. M. 36 in. Marie Fischer x Cotlet. The very first Iris to bloom for us each year in the tall bearded class, this is a real beauty in clear, bright yellow. The nicely formed flowers have domed stands and flaring falls of thick substance and a glittering gilt covered finish which is accented by a thick tangerine beard. Well branched stalks with many blooms. 3.00 |
