From Fleur De Lis Gardens catalog, 1968: BALLET BABE (D. Smith 19681 E.M. (BORDER BEARDED-24 in. (Lavender Mist x Dreamcastle) x Sib. A delightful little version of the lovely old Ballet Dancer, this clean, shining rosy-mauve self is offset by rich coppery style arms and a touch of copper veining at the throat. The stalks are well branched and quite in keeping with its height and size of flowers. It has well domed, heavily ruffled stands and round, heavily ruffled falls of flat flaring form. It is a real delight. No. 62DS34. Net $10.00 |
