■(AR) 'Vera'

Van Tubergen

'Vera'  (C. G. Van Tubergen). Not registered. AR (RH). An older I. stolonifera hybrid, thought to be a cross of I. stolonifera X I. korolkowii . Tetraploid (2n=44 chr.) and fertile. Flower strongly resembles its mother, with roseviolet-brown ground heavily veined in dark violet-brown. Mid-ribs are dark blue flushed and feathered with violet and the beards are a striking electric blue. Style arms are violet-blue with violet-brown tips.
