(AR) 'Royal Turban'

1983, Shockey

'Royal Turban' OH (Howard Shockey, R. 1983). Seedling 173-44-L. AR, 17" (43 cm). Early bloom. Standards white, finely veined and peppered light rose maroon; falls white, completely covered with very fine light rose maroon veining and dotting; large rose maroon signals; golden buff beards. Seedling 161-131-A: (I. gatesii, seedling 6115 x I. mariae "Cutie") X seedling 160-96: ('Judean Bonnet' x Austin seedling W157-O, yellow). Arilian Acres, Aril Society, 1983.
