■(AR) 'Orion'

1960, Van Tubergen

'Orion'. (C. G. Van Tubergen,, Registered with KAVB, 1960). Regeliocyclus group; standards violet-purple (RHS 80A) veined darker, falls red-brown, veined purple, crest blue. (Regelia, probably Iris korolkowii Regel and unknown oncocyclus).

Note: The name 'Orion' was also used for a tall-bearded Iris registered by AIS in 1926.
