Deep red-violet veins entrancingly etched on a smooth creamy ground, delightfully flushed with pink and lavender. Rich splash of purplish black plush in center of falls. Pollen green." Vallette: "cream, flushed pink and lavender, veined deep red-violet; velvety black signal and green anthers." Van Tubergen, 1908. Notes: Name approved; counted as a 21-chromosome diploid, an RC in both system; introduced before the registration system was established, name noted as approved in '39 CL.
