1999, Hoog
'Antiope' R. ( Antoine. Hoog, introduced but not registered) AR. Unregistered selected regelia. Standards creamy white washed pale blue and lavender and blazed with deep smoky purple on the falls, beard white. It was discovered by Antoine Hoog in old Van Tubergen stocks of Iris hoogiana purpurea in 1999. The white beard has led Paul Christian to speculate that this is a hybrid of Iris stolonifera and Iris hoogiana. Offered for sale by Hoog 1999 and Paul Christian Rare Plants 2016.
