From The Court Of Iris catalog, 1955: ZEBULON (Callis '41) LM 39" (Sir Knight X Ormohr). Shades from lilac-rose to purple-crimson, this flower is decorated with maroon veins. Reported to be fertile both ways--even on difficult hybrids. A rather new acquisition with us--we have not tried its fertility. $1.00

AIS Color Class: B1M. (Medium blue self.) Court of Iris: "Shades from lilac-rose to purple-crimson, this flower is decorated with maroon veins." Rainbow: "Huge, veined lilac-rose and purplish crimson." Vallette: "Huge red-purple TB." No information on introduction found in AIS Checklists. Notes:1/8 onco, qualified as an arilbred until the quantum requirement was adopted. Ref: AIS '49, p. 262; Vallette, p. 193.
