'Satan's Mistress' (Gustav Seligmann, R. 1982). Seedling S74-A40. TB, 28" (71 cm). Early to midseason bloom. Red black (darker and redder than RHS 79A); dark red black beard. 'Red Rapport' X 'Swahili'. New Dimensions 1983.

NOTE: Also listed in TB web: 'Satan's Mistress'. Although 1/4 aril by parentage, this iris has not been accepted as an arilbred by the Aril Society International because it does not exhibit the aril characteristics necessary for ASI acceptance. Cytogenetically, it is likely to have little or no aril complement.
