'Royal Affair' (John Holden, R. 1973). Seedling Hal9a. AB, 15" (38 cm). Early midseason bloom. Standards silver-grey ground, medium purple veining; Falls same with somewhat heavier veining; large dark purple brown signal; dark purple brown beard. From unknown onco hybrids. Aril Iris Farm 1973. Honorable Mention 1975.
