1998, McAllister

'Quincinera' OGB+ (Sharon McAllister, R. 1998). Seedling 90-19-4. AB, 24" (61 cm), Early midseason bloom. Standards white ground, few thin yellow veins; style arms greenish ivory; Falls greenish ivory, veins changing from thick chocolate at beard to faint rust at edge; beards mustard, hairs tipped burgundy. 'Werckmeister's Beauty' X 'Whirlwind Tour'. McAllister's Iris Gardens, 1998.

From AIS Bulletin #309 April 1998 Introducing QUINCINERA (McAllister, 1998) Seedling 90-19-4. White standards are marked only by a few yellow veins. Greenish-ivory falls have veins that range from thick chocolate around the beard to faint rust at the edge. On opening the falls are also marked with an intense violet blaze in the center. An OGB+ from Werckmeister's Beauty X Whirlwind Tour. $30.00. McAllister's Iris Gardens.
