2006, Annand

'Persian Queen' OGB (Robert Annand, R. 2006). Seedling AB90-16A. AB, 33" (84 cm), Early midseason bloom. Standards violet blue, veined darker; yellow gold at base, globular shape; style arms amber gold, lavender lip; falls maroon lavender, veined and stippled darker around large velvety purple-maroon signal; recurved; beards brassy yellow. Seedling 76R6: (('Persian Brass' x 'Imaret') x 'Imaret') X seedling 77F41: ('Beisan Aga' x 'Esther, The Queen'). Cedaridge, Forest Ranch Iris Gardens, 2006. Honorable Mention 2009; Award of Merit 2011.
