'Omar's Sister' OB- (Carl Boswell, R. 1985). Seedling 181-75-24. AB, 18" (46 cm). Midseason bloom. Standards medium blue violet, darker at midrib; green styles over yellow; Falls light greenish yellow; brownish maroon around blue beard; small dark brown signal. ( 'Gingerbread Man' x I. balkana ) X 'Welcome Reward'. Sibling to 'Jewel Of Omar'. Boswell Iris, Aril Society, 1986. Honorable Mention 1988.
