'Omar The Tentmaker' OB-/ABM (Carl Boswell, R. 1987). Seedling 181-75-17. AB, 16" (41 cm). Midseason bloom. Standards pale lavender, light yellow midrib; buff styles with lavender and green markings; Falls light golden buff; purple area around beard; purple beard tipped bronze. ( 'Gingerbread Man' x I. balkana ) X 'Welcome Reward'. Sibling To 'Omar's Torch'. Adamgrove, 1989. Honorable Mention 1991; Award of Merit 1994; Mohr Medal 1997.
