(AB) 'Oddfellow'

1956, Muhlestein

'Oddfellow' (Tell Muhlestein, R. 1956). Seedling 52-l1. IT (hybrid.), 20" (51 cm). Early midseason bloom. Color Class W2, Fancy plicata. White ground brushed and flecked violet-blue. 'Elmohr' X Larsen seedling: ( 'Mohrson x ( 'Beau Ideal' x 'Wasatch')). Tell 1956.

NOTE: Also listed in IB web. 'Oddfellow'.

NOTE: This iris has not been accepted as an arilbred by the Aril Society International because it does not exhibit the aril characteristics necessary for ASI acceptance.

From Rainbow Hybridizing Gardens catalog 1963: ODDFELLOW (Muhlestein '56) M-20". White plicata in Mohr form, brushed & splashed deep mauve. No two flowers are marked alike; also some doubling & odd form of flowers. Regularly $2.50; on $10 order $2.10; on $25 order $1.85.
