'Mt. Ararat' OB- (Stafford Jory by Phillip Edinger, R. 1979). AB (1/4), 36" (91 cm). Early midseason bloom. White ground with violet plicata marking 'Grace Mohr' X 'Miss Muffet'. S. Jory, 1949.

From The Court Of Iris catalog, 1955: MOUNT ARARAT (Jory '49) EM (Grace Mohr X Miss Muffet). Here we have Onco blood on both sides of the family which has resulted in a violet plicata marking on an almost white gropnd. $1.00
From Fleur De Lis Gardens catalog 1956: MT. ARARAT (Jory 1949) EM. 34 in. (Grace Mohr X Miss Muffet). A white ground, violet marked plicata of typical onco form.
