'Mohr Lemonade' (Tell Muhlestein, R. 1957). Seedling 56-122. Onco-TB, 36" (91 cm). Early midseason bloom. Color Class Y1L, Pale-lemon self. ( 'Ormaco' x 'Cool Lemonade') X (( I. hoogiana_ x 'Indian Chief') x 'Cool Lemonade'). Tell 1958. Honorable Mention 1961.

From Tell’s Iris Garden catalog, 1958: MOHR LEMONADE (Tell). Early-Midseason. 36 inches. (Ormaco x Cool Lemonade) x ((I. hoogiana x Indian Chief) x (Cool Lemonade)). This very wide pale lemon self (includin beard) shows its onco-blood only in width of its petals and a bit of oddness in the beard. The touch of regalia blood has imparted a certain vigor in the multiplication of its healthy rhizomes. I feel it holds great promise as a breeder for lemon and yellow onco-hybrids and should be especially good with the fertile C. G. White series to which it proved an easy parent. Has pollen and will pod. No. 56-122. $15.00
