From Tell’s Iris Garden catalog, 1958: MOHR LEMONADE (Tell). Early-Midseason. 36 inches. (Ormaco x Cool Lemonade) x ((I. hoogiana x Indian Chief) x (Cool Lemonade)). This very wide pale lemon self (includin beard) shows its onco-blood only in width of its petals and a bit of oddness in the beard. The touch of regalia blood has imparted a certain vigor in the multiplication of its healthy rhizomes. I feel it holds great promise as a breeder for lemon and yellow onco-hybrids and should be especially good with the fertile C. G. White series to which it proved an easy parent. Has pollen and will pod. No. 56-122. $15.00 |
