'Mohr Glorious' (Tell Muhlestein, R. 1952). EC, 32" (81 cm). Late midseason bloom. Color Class-RV1, TB-onco. Red-violet self (deep mulberry). 'Elmohr' x ((Tompkins 42-58: 'The Red Douglas' x 'Joycette') x (4E-38: 'William Mohr' x 'Mussolini')). Tell 1952. High Commendation 1951; Honorable Mention 1954 as a TB; Judge's Choice 1954..

NOTE: This iris has not been accepted as an arilbred by the Aril Society International because it does not exhibit the aril characteristics necessary for ASI acceptance.

From Wallace Iris Gardens 1955: MOHR GLORIOUS- (Muhlestein '52) M. L. 32 in. Elmohr x ((The Red Douglas x Joycette) x (Wm. Mohr x Mussolini)). Similar to Elmohr but has larger flowers with heavier substance and extremely broad petals. The color is rich mulberry red. H. C.'51. NET $15.00.
