'Lorason' OB (Mary Ellen Knopf. R. 1963). Seedling 13-1-aa. AB, 20" (51 cm). Early bloom. Blue gray self; blue beard. 'Blossom Valley' X I. lortetii. Knopf and Tell’s Iris Gardens, 1964.

From Tell’s Gardens catalog, 1964: LORASON (M. Knopf '64) EM 34 in. (Blossom Valley x I. lorettii) Grayed blue self with blue tipped beard, slight signal patch at beard. Round, flaring falls. looking for all the world like a Capitola seedling. No pollen and difficult to pod, but a good potential breeder if it can be induced to set seed. #13Al 1. $15.00
