1968, Loveridge 'Copacabana' ( Gordon Loveridge, R. 1968) BB. Seedling 62-17, 26" (66 cm). Late bloom. Color Class-Y1F. Golden yellow self; orange beard. 'Bingham' x I. atropurpurea . Warrimoo Iris 1968/69. Also listed in BB web: 'Copacabana'. Although registered BB, 'Copacabana' is considered an arilbred. NOTE: This iris has not been accepted as an arilbred by the Aril Society International because it does not exhibit the aril characteristics necessary for ASI acceptance. See below:
