'Cairo Love Song' OGB-/ABM (Hooker Nichols, R. 1978). Seedling 7526. AB-MED (1/4), 16" (41 cm), Early to late bloom. Standards violet; Falls dove gray with brown on each side of bronze beard. 'Puppet' X 'Esther, The Queen'. La Cresta Gardens 1980. Honorable Mention 1982; Mohr Award 1984.

From AIS Bulletin #237 April 1980 Introducing CAIRO LOVE SONG (H. Nichols '80), AR-MED, 16", E-L. Closed violet standards over dove-colored falls, which have a faint violet undertone, F. are further accented by brown areas (not haft marks) on each side of bronze beards. Puppet X Esther, the Queen. One branch with 3 to 4 buds. $12.50. La Cresta Gardens.
