1992, McAllister 'Blackbeard's Ghost' OGB (Sharon McAllister, R. 1992). Seedling 85-4-8. AB, 28" (71 cm), Early to midseason bloom. Standards very pale wisteria violet, slightly darker veins; falls pale wisteria ground, washed burgundy and finely veined deeper burgundy; signal area intensely veined deep burgundy; burgundy black beards. 'Bold Sentry' X 'Whither Thou Goest'. McAllister's Iris Gardens, 1992. Honorable Mention 1996. See below:
