1955, Muhlestein 'Bingham' ( Tell Muhlestein, R. 1954). Seedling 51-72C. Eupogocyclus hybrid TB, 32" (81 cm). Midseason late bloom. Color Class-R1, Red-copper self. (('Ormaco' x 'Golden Eagle') x ( 'N. J. Thomas' x 'Aztec Copper')) x (( 'Elena Choosing' x ( 'Zebulon' x 'Golden Eagle')). Tell 1955. Also listed in TB web. 'Bingham'. NOTE: This iris has not been accepted as an arilbred by the Aril Society International because it does not exhibit the aril characteristics necessary for ASI acceptance. See below:
