From Milliken catalog, 1945: BELADI (White). Here is an introduction, an oncobred, which will add a new note of beauty to any garden. The plants are strong growers and produce firm globular flowers five inches in diameter. Both standards and falls are veined and dotted with deep violet (nigrosin violet) and then, as a climax to this beauty, there is a rich deeply colored signal patch at the end of the beard, such as occurs also in Present and Enchanted. 30 inches. $5.00; 3 for $12.50
From The Court Of Iris catalog, 1955: BELADI (White '40) E 30" (Unknown). This strong growing plant produces large globular blooms of lavender, veined and dotted with violet and displaying a deep rich signal patch. Also an excellent subject for cutting. $.50
