No description in '76 CL. Court of lris: "The large slightly ruffled flowers have flaring falls. A mulberry-violet of heavy substance and velvety finish. Rainbow: "mulberry-violet bitone showing definite Onco influence." Tell: "Large, well formed purple bi-color." Vallette: "big purple bitone Mohr." No information on introduction found in AIS Checklists. Notes: An OB- in both systems. Ref: AIS '49, p. 44; ASI '76, p. 16; Vallette, p.188.
