1984, Stadler

'Celestial Dream' (James Stadler, R. 1983). Seedling #D-2-10. BB, 26" (66 cm), Midseason bloom. Ruffled white with 1/2" (1.2 cm) border of light medium blue around falls; white beard tipped yellow; slight sweet fragrance. 'Lilac Champagne' X 'Music Maker'. Celestial Gardens 1984. High Commendation 1982; Exhibition Certificate 1982; Honorable Mention 1986.

From AIS Bulletin #253 April 1984 Introducing CELESTIAL DREAM (Stadler '84) BB, M, 26", Sdlg. 0-2-10. Ruffled and flared white with 1/2" light to medium blue border around the falls. Nicely branched stalk with 5 to 7 buds. Heavy substance and very vigorous. Lilac Champagne X Music Maker. EC 1982, HC 1982, winner of North Carolina Iris Society President's Cup in 1982, and Region 4 Bobbie Lee Evans Award for best seedling in 1982. $20.00. Celestial Gardens.
